Rokoko Studio for Mac OSX cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer

After downloading the latest version of Rokoko Studio, you are receiving the following error when you try to open it:

This error appears due to the Gatekeeper security feature included with OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and later.

Solution

1. Drag Rokoko Studio to your Applications folder.
2. Open Rokoko Studio.
3. See error "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer".
4. Open System Preferences and click Security & Privacy. 
5. Choose 'Open Anyway' as per this screenshot (you should only need to do this once):
