The Smartsuit Pro does NOT come with a battery due to shipping legislation.
You need to purchase a standard USB battery pack in order to use the Smartsuit Pro. It should deliver at least 2A/2000mA from a single output.
Some general details when you go looking for batteries:
- The battery should be a standard USB battery pack.
- There should be at least two USB-A outputs, each able to output 5V/2A (you can go above 2A - to 2.5A and 3A for example, but more than 5V can fry the hardware).
- The capacity of the battery depends on the operation time you are seeking. You can expect around 5-6 hours of operation at 5000mAh, but this can vary depending on the quality of the battery pack therefore we encourage our customers to use high-quality well-known brands. As a rule of thumb, for every 1000mAh of battery, you will get around an hour of play time so we recommend one that is 5000mAh and fits nicely into the Smartsuit Pro pocket.
We recommend either getting 3 separate batteries with one outlet each, two batteries if at least one of them has two outlets (for the Smartgloves), or alternatively; getting just one Anker 26800 (or equivalent from a different provider) which has three 5V/6A outlets, is also a great option.
There is a pocket specifically dedicated to the power bank on the back of the Smartsuit Pro and it is designed to fit batteries around:
- 4.5 x 2.6 x 0.5 inches
- 11,5 x 6,6 x 1,3 cm
The front pocket can also hold larger batteries.
