What do the Smartsuit Pro Hub and Sensor colours mean?


The Smartsuit Pro is a powerful piece of kit but what does it mean when a sensor or hub are a certain colour? Sometimes it can be an indicator of a hardware or software connection issue. Please find a detailed explanation of each colour and what they mean below. 

Smartsuit Pro Sensor colours explained

The sensors light up blue/green before turning off. When your Smartsuit Pro sensors are in a normal state they will not be lit when powered on. The only lights that will be on during use will be that of the HUB.


What does it mean?
RED This indicates that the sensor is not working properly. Please reach out to support@rokoko.com for assistance.
If they remain blue it means that communication with the HUB cannot be established (possible broken wire).
If one or more sensors are blinking green then it indicates that the sensors are running in boot loader mode. Please reach out at support@rokoko.com

Smartsuit Pro Hub colours explained

The HUB has four LEDs, three of which are used to indicate the system state. The HUB cover has a symbol for each LED which gives a hint about the functionality it represents.

There is one LED for WiFi, one for USB and a general one on the HUB-Button. We have broken down the definitions below based on the specific button it pertains to:


What does it mean?
RED A failure has occurred while trying to connect to the network. Please double check your WiFi settings(network/password/IP/Security etc) and reach out to support@rokoko.com if further assistance is required.
BLUE The system is working properly and connected to an access point in the 2.4GHz band.

The system is working properly and connected to an access point in the 5GHz band.


What does it mean?
Smartsuit is ready for configuration in Studio or Smartsuit has been set up.
Connected, but no communication with Studio is present at the moment.

Power HUB Button Led

What does it mean?
RED There is a problem communicating with some of the sensors(possibly broken wire)
BLUE The system is fully functional but the HOST IP is not reachable, therefore
Rokoko Studio does not see the suit.
GREEN Everything is working perfectly and Studio should be receiving data from
the suit.
Smartsuit is not connected to a battery.
