In this article, you will find instructions on how to update your Smartgloves/Smartsuit Pro(version 1 or version 2 or Glove-Ready edition) to the latest firmware.
Note: Smartgloves need to be updated separately, directly to your computer and should NOT be connected to the Smartsuit Glove-Ready edition!
Smartgloves Update
Requirements
- Rokoko Studio
- USB-C to A cable (provided by us)
Instructions
- Connect ONE SmartGlove(with the USB-C to A cable provided by us) to your computer and launch Studio.(Smartsuit Pro must be disconnected, too)
- You will get a pop-up window for updating your Smartgloves. Select Update and Update Firmware as shown:
If you don't get the pop-up window, navigate to Device Manager, double click the Smartglove and click on Update Firmware.
Finally, your Smartglove is up to date:
- Disconnect this Smartglove, connect the other one and repeat the same procedure.
Smartsuit Pro Update
Requirements
- Rokoko Studio
- USB-C to A cable (provided by us)
- Standalone Edition: USB power bank/battery(2A output) - Click here for a list of recommendations
OR
- Glove-Ready edition: USB power bank/battery(3A output) - Click here for a list of recommendations
Instructions
- Connect your Smartsuit to your computer via the USB-C to A cable, your battery via the USB-C cable that come out of the Hub and launch Studio.(battery doesn't need to be plugged if you have Smartsuit Pro version 1)
- You will get a pop-up window for updating your Smartsuit. Select Update and Update Firmware as shown:
If you don't get the pop-up window, navigate to Device Manager, double click the Smartsuit and click on Update Firmware.
Finally, your Smartsuit is up to date:
