Hardware Indicators
The Smartgloves II hub features two primary visual indicators:
- Status LED: A small LED on the hub face used for system and connection diagnostics.
- LED Ring: The illuminated ring surrounding the main hub button.
Standard Light Patterns
- Solid: The device is in a stable state.
- Slow Blinking : Standby mode or searching for a connection.
- Fast Blinking : Active data transmission or firmware update in progress.
Connection States
Wired Mode (USB Connection)
When the Smartgloves II are connected directly to your PC via USB:

Troubleshooting the Yellow Blinking Light
If you see a Slow Blinking Yellow light, the glove is powered and connected to your network but cannot "see" Rokoko Studio. Please check the following:
- Ensure Rokoko Studio is open and running on your PC.
- Verify that the IP Address and Port in the Studio settings match your network configuration.
- Check your Firewall settings to ensure Rokoko Studio has permission to receive data.
Network & Update Diagnostics
- Connection Unsuccessful (5 GHz / SSP GR): Slow Blinking Red.
- Connection Unsuccessful (Dual band): Slow Blinking Magenta
- Connection Unsuccessful (2.4 GHz): Slow Blinking Blue.
- Firmware Update in Progress: Fast Blinking Yellow.
- Wi-Fi Update in Progress: Fast Blinking Cyan
- Update Failed: Blinks Red for 3 seconds, then returns to previous state.
Actor Assignment
When you assign the glove to an Actor Profile in Rokoko Studio, the LED Ring will illuminate with the Profile color assigned to that actor.
