Rokoko Studio Preview - Known Issues

We currently recommend not exceeding 30 minutes of recordings per scene, and keeping most recordings to a maximum of 5 minutes in Studio. This will help ensure the stability of your scenes in both Studio and Studio Preview.

Note for Windows Users:
Windows systems without the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable installed may be unable to export clips. If you encounter this issue, please download and install the appropriate version based on your system architecture. You can also find these installers on Microsoft’s official website:
FBX exports currently contain a duplicate first frame.

Timeline scrubbing can feel choppy and unresponsive, especially on Windows, as if it's "fighting back" during use.
When a segment is selected, scrubbing the timeline or moving the start/end of a segment does not update the animation in the viewport.
Multiple clicks on the timeline segment tracks can create multiple overlapping segments.
When a segment is selected, pressing play will reset the playhead's position to the start of the segment.
When undoing/redoing segment configuration changes, the animation will update but the panel will show the initial configuration.
When changing clips, the in-and-out trimming handles will not reset automatically, press Play all to reselect the whole clip

When re-enabling a previously disabled smoothing segment, the smoothing parameters will be reset to default
The smoothing filter is currently not optimized for text-to-motion generated clips. It will not have a great effect when applied and can create artifacts.

Creating a loop in a text to motion clip that also has smoothing segments might create weird results like static sliding motion or spinning. For now, you might want to remove any smoothing segments when also creating loops.

Scenes that exceed Studio’s size limitations will take significantly longer to import and load.
