Overview
Rokoko Create lets you generate 3D motion animation from either:
A text description, or
A video clip you upload
This tool uses AI to produce motion data that can be previewed, and then sent to your Rokoko Studio account. It’s ideal for creating basic, short movement sequences (walks, idles, gestures) without needing motion capture hardware.
Rokoko Create uses the all-new Vision 3.0 for Video input
Rokoko Vision 3.0 is a browser-based, AI-driven motion capture system that extracts 3D animation data from standard video files or live webcam footage. Version 3.0 introduces a completely rebuilt solver designed for higher tracking stability, cleaner motion data, and accelerated processing times.
Key Technical Enhancements in Vision 3.0
To address the demand for higher fidelity and faster turnaround times, Rokoko has replaced its original tracking architecture with a newly rebuilt monocular solver. This foundation offers several core enhancements:
Cleaner Animations: Drastically reduced joint noise and micro-jitter, saving you hours of manual cleanup in post-production.
Highly Stable Tracking: Enhanced tracking logic that maintains skeleton stability, even when limbs cross behind the body (occlusion).
Rapid Processing Speed: Clips are processed in a fraction of the time, meaning you get visual results in minutes rather than waiting 20 to 60 minutes.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A registered Rokoko account signed in to the Create portal.
A text prompt or a local video file showing the motion you want to convert.
Opening Rokoko Create
Go to the Rokoko Create portal in your browser.
You’ll see the main input area where you can choose how to generate motion.
