Unable To Open Rokoko Studio

Troubleshooting advice on how to resolve issues that may occur when opening Rokoko Studio. 

After downloading the latest version of Rokoko Studio to your Mac, you may receive the following error when you try to open the application:

This error appears due to the Gatekeeper security feature included with OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and later.


  1. Click and drag Rokoko Studio to your Applications folder.
  2. Open Rokoko Studio.
  3. An error will appear saying, "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."
  4. Open System Preferences and click Security & Privacy. 
  5. Choose 'Open Anyway' as per the screenshot below (you should only need to do this once):
