A power bank capable of 5V/3A output per USB A output for each Smartglove II is required (10,000+ mAh recommended).

Unboxing
The Smartgloves II box contains the following items:
- One pair of Smartgloves II.
- A glove storage case.
- Two long USB cables.
Note: An external power bank is not included and must be prepared separately.
Connecting the Smartgloves II
- Install Software: Download and install Rokoko Studio from the official download page.
- Wired Connection: Connect the Smartglove's II hub to your computer using the USB cable (USB-C to the hub, USB-A to the PC). Make sure to push the USB C side on the side of the Smartglove's II hub until you hear the clicking sound.
- Update Firmware: Open Rokoko Studio and proceed with any prompted firmware updates. Connect one Smartglove II to the computer via USB C to A cable at a time.
- WiFi Configuration: Click 'Connected Devices' in the top right, select your Smartglove II, and navigate to the 'WiFi settings' tab to enter your network details.
- Switch to Power Bank: Once the "Smartglove connected to WiFi" message appears, disconnect the USB-A end from the computer and plug it into your power bank.
- Repeat these steps for the second Smartglove II.
Connecting via Smartsuit Pro II
Smartgloves II can be connected directly to a glove-ready Smartsuit Pro II, without the need for each Smartglove II to be set up individually, allowing both Smartgloves II to be powered by a single power bank.
- Put on your Smartsuit Pro II and your Smartgloves II.
- Connect the cables from the Smartsuit Pro's sleeves directly into the Smartgloves' hubs. Make sure to push the USB C side on the side of the Smartglove's II hub until you hear the clicking sound.
- The Smartgloves II will automatically join the Smartsuit Pro's network as long as the Smartsuit Pro's wifi settings have been previously applied succesfully. More on how to set up your Smartsuit Pro's wifi settings here.
Pro Tip: When removing the Smartgloves II, always pull from the loops located under the fingertips to avoid damaging the internal cables.
Motion Capture & Calibration
Once paired in Rokoko Studio, ensure you calibrate all actors before recording. It is recommended to re-calibrate before every new clip for maximum accuracy.
