Requirements

In order to install the Blender plugin, you need to be running Blender 2.8 or higher. 

Please refer to the latest Blender plugin release notes for the installer. Do not unzip the file once it has been downloaded.

Uninstalling previous plugin

• In Blender go to Edit -> Preferences.

• Type "rokoko", find the previous plugin, expand it and then click Remove.

• Restart Blender.

Now you are able to install the updated plugin.

If an issue appears, use the following alternative method:

• Exit Blender.
• Navigate to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\{blender_version}\scripts\addons and remove the Rokoko folder.

Installing the plugin

• Download the updated plugin here. (do not unzip the folder!)
• In Blender go to Edit -> Preferences.

• In Preferences go to Add-ons > Install.

• Select the downloaded zip file in the opened file browser and install it.

Enabling the plugin

• Enable “Rokoko Studio Live for Blender” by checking the checkbox next to it.
