Known Issues
Device Setup
- On Mac, when updating the Smartsuit Pro's firmware, when the installation is complete you might get a failure message. This is most probably a false negative and the firmware was successfully installed. Power off the device, wait 10 seconds and power it back on. If the suit continues to show errors, contact support@rokoko.com
- After updating the Coil Pro's firmware you might get a false negative failure message.
- When applying a network configuration, you might get a "Unknown redpine error" message. This is most probably related to an incorrect network configuration. Make sure the network name, password and security is correct and re-apply the settings.
- When connecting a glove-ready Smartsuit via USB for setup or updates, make sure the Smartgloves are not attached to the suit before powering it on.
- When using both the Smartgloves and Smartsuit standalone and not via the Glove Ready integration, powering on the Smartsuit Pro before the Smartgloves may cause Wi-Fi connection issues. As a workaround, power on and connect to WIFI all Smartgloves before starting the Smartsuit Pro II.
Smartgloves II Performance
- When using the Smartgloves II as standalone, quickly flapping your arms will result in the arm sensor drifting during the motion and it will drift back when you stop the movement. This will not be the case when using them with a Smartsuit and/or the Coil Pro.
- The hand movement might look a bit robotic when continuously rotating the wrist while the arm is stationary.
See Rokoko Studio - Known Issues for an overview of all known issues, and Coil Pro - Known Issues for those specifically related to Coil Pro.
